What to check yourself

Put the phone on charge for 20–30 minutes — a deeply discharged device won't respond right away.

Switch the cable and power adapter: the cable is usually the culprit.

Force restart. On iPhone: briefly press volume up, then down, then hold the side button for 10 seconds.
