Did you bring a MacBook from abroad or buy a laptop with an English layout? We apply Russian letters to the keys using a laser: the symbols won't wear off or peel away like stickers. We engrave any laptops and standalone keyboards; the price is 2 500 ₽.

Video: how the laser applies Cyrillic characters to a MacBook Pro keyboard.

What is laser keyboard engraving

The laser applies Russian letters directly onto the keys next to the Latin ones. Unlike a sticker, the symbol becomes part of the key itself: it doesn't slide off, curl at the edges, or wear out after a few months of use. If the keyboard is backlit, the letters are readable in the dark.

You can apply the familiar Mac layout or the standard Windows layout. Just let the manager know which one you need when booking.

Why engraving is better than stickers

  • Won't wear off. Stickers eventually wear out and peel off, especially on frequently used keys.
  • Visible in the dark. Letters on a sticker don't shine with the keyboard backlight, but laser-engraved ones do.
  • Neat appearance. The letter sits perfectly on the key and doesn't interfere with your fingers.
  • One-time solution. No need to re-apply or find stickers that fit your specific model.

If your model doesn't have a backlit keyboard, there's nothing to light up: MacBook Air 2008–2010 and white MacBook models do not have backlighting.

Which devices we engrave

We engrave any laptops and standalone keyboards. These include:

  • MacBook Air and MacBook Pro of all sizes and years, including Retina and 2017 models, with or without backlighting;
  • MacBook White and Black;
  • iMac, Mac Pro keyboards, and iPad keyboards;
  • Acer, ASUS, Sony, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, Dell laptops, and other manufacturers;
  • standalone keyboards, including those for desktop computers.

A laptop brought from another country is fine; the country of purchase doesn't matter. If you're unsure about your model, tell the manager, and they will confirm how the work will be done.

How the process works

  1. Message us or visit in person. Provide the laptop model and year, and specify which layout you need.
  2. We'll inspect the keyboard. We'll check the keys and backlighting to confirm that engraving is possible.
  3. We'll confirm the price and turnaround time. The cost of keyboard engraving is 2 500 ₽.
  4. We'll laser-engrave the letters and check the result. You review the characters and take your laptop.
