Some Legion models experience an issue:
Windows automatic updates install an incorrect Wi-Fi driver, preventing the laptop from connecting to networks.
To fix this, we need to perform three steps:
1) Remove the incorrect driver.
— Download and extract the Lenovo WiFi Driver Fix archive, then extract DriverStoreExplorer
— Run the Rapr file from the DriverStoreExplorer folder
— Select all drivers under "Network Adapters"
— On the right, check the "Force Deletion" box
— Click "Delete Drivers"
2) Install the correct driver.
— Run the file «correct driver»
3) Disable updates for this driver.
— Run the file «disable wifi driver auto update»
Restart the laptop — Wi-Fi will be restored.
An update error may appear in Windows Update Center; this is normal and harmless.
